Lake Sanusi Maros Makassar, the hidden beauty of tourism
No one expected, Maros has hidden natural attractions that are rarely exposed by many tourists. Lake Sanusi, which is located on the outskirts of Maros Regency, is even quite close to Makassar City. The location is right on Jalan Garuda, Tanralili, Maros Regency, about 7 Km from the center of Maros Regency. And the distance from the city of Sultan Hasanuddin Airport is about 12 Km or 30 minutes away.
Lake Sanusi was formed from former mining excavations, which were abandoned and flooded, after a long time the water increased and formed a lake. However, local residents use this lake as a source of agricultural irrigation. Although it is still located in the vicinity of residential areas, Lake Sanusi itself is quite natural and clean. The locals usually visit to fish or enjoy the afternoon around the lake Sanusi, while their children enjoy swimming in one of the shallow parts of the lake.

The calm and greenish water of the lake, the cool breeze that blows, the sound of birds chirping, will accompany you while visiting Lake Sanusi. Not only that at certain times you can see cranes looking for fish among the grass, this adds to the peaceful and refreshing impression around this Sanusi lake.
For the facilities around Lake Sanusi, they only use the facilities owned by residents, and if you want to stay here, you have to stay at the homes of residents around Lake Sanusi or bring a tent to be installed around Lake Sanusi. For vehicle parking, leave it around people's homes at no charge, so you want to provide any service they will still accept.
