Indonesia is one of the largest archipelagic countries in the world. Consists of more than 17,000 islands that stretch. store assets that are priceless. Thousands of islands are lined up to form an elongated coastline with a stretch of clean white sand that is very attractive. Of course, all of this is capable of becoming a magnet for international tourists to visit Indonesia, enjoying Indonesia's natural wealth.
Indonesia is one of the countries with the most pluralistic society structure in the world. There are 1340 ethnic groups, 742 languages, and hundreds of local cultures recorded. Even though it consists of various ethnic groups, languages and religions, the social life of the Indonesian people remains peaceful and mutual respect for each other despite the differences in ethnicity, language and religion. These efforts have begun to show results in the past few years. During the last five years, the number of foreign tourist visits to Indonesia has been increasing every year. The incessant promotion of "Visit Indonesia" to the international world is able to attract foreign tourists to visit Indonesia.
The island of Bali or known as the Island of the Gods is still the prima donna of foreign tourists as one of the most favorite tourist attractions in Indonesia. By presenting natural beauty and unique local culture, the island of Bali is able to attract millions of tourists every year. According to data from the Directorate General of Immigration, from 2011 to 2015, foreign tourists entering Indonesia through Ngurah Rai Airport, Bali always experienced an average increase of 7.3 percent every year. In 2016, from January to November 2016 there were 4,414,688 foreign tourists who entered through Ngurah Rai Airport. It is possible that this number will continue to increase in the coming years considering that the government continues to try to boost the tourism sector to become one of the sectors driving the community's economy.
Now, Indonesia does not only have the island of Bali as a favorite destination for foreign tourists. Now the island of Lombok has improved to become a favorite destination for foreign tourists. The location of the island of Lombok, which is not far from the island of Bali, makes it an alternative choice for international tourist destinations. Data shows that the island of Lombok in recent years has begun to be glimpsed by foreign tourists. According to data from the Directorate of Immigration, in 2015 the number of international tourists entering through Lombok International Airport reached 70,217, an increase of four times compared to 2011.

The natural beauty presented by the island of Lombok and its surroundings is not inferior to the natural beauty of its neighboring island, the island of Bali. The natural wealth owned by Lombok Island must be maximized by the local government in order to add attractive tourist spots.
The increasing number of foreign tourists visiting Indonesia will have a positive impact on the Indonesian economy. The people's economy will grow more rapidly when the tourism sector develops.
